InstaFoodie with MeFriday night #cocktails at @stoneyriversteakhouse before I go to see the next movie in my absolute favorite franchise Jurassic Park. I cannot wait for all the dinos. 🦖🦖🦕🦕. What’s your favorite movie? If the answer doesn’t involve dinosaurs, I don’t know if we can still be friends. #afamishedfoodie #vodka #drinksEven though a number of factors go into making a great #wine, almost everyone I know that drinks it has a favorite grape. For me, it’s Petit Verdot. For my mom, it’s #Chardonnay. For my grandma, it’s #moscato. What’s your favorite? Pictured here is a #Zinfandel from @pedroncelliwine. One to definitely check out if that’s your answer to my question above. #afamishedfoodie #winelover #wineblogIt’s about three hundred degrees outside, so that sounds like the perfect time for #rosé. I’ll be tweeting about this @bedellcellars wine tonight for #winestudio, so follow along there to see what I thought of this little pink rockstar. #afamishedfoodie #roseallday #wine #wineblogI am not really much of a #pasta girl (sue me. I’m persian and I like my rice). But I will inhale just about anything made with rabbit. This #rabbit ragù was from a recent dinner with the Maryland Food and Wine Society. It had some nice acidity from the tomato, the meat was tender, and the pasta had some great weight to it. A great way to experience Aldo’s for the first time, and a fantastic atmosphere in which to meet the winemaker providing the #wines for the evening. #afamishedfoodie #food #italianfood #baltimoreSometimes you don’t need a fancy glass for your #wine. Sometimes all you need is whatever glass you have on hand, a beach in the background, and friends around. Just finished my blog on @pedroncelliwine and @wowsonoma that will post on Wednesday and wanted to share this photo here first! This shot is of their Friends. White wine so stay tuned for all my thoughts on this easy drinking blend I opened up all the way back in February. #afamishedfoodie #wineblog #winestudio #wineloverI’m not an exceptionally emotional person, but today we lost one of the most important men in my life. Carlo met my dad around the time I was born and he’s been significant to my whole family ever since then. When I was a kid, I loved him and thought we were gonna get married. When I was a moody teenager he kept me occupied for hours at his restaurant and let me vent. As an adult, he always checked in on me and showed the kind of unconditional love one only expects from family. I always felt smart, pretty, and like I could do anything around him. We always used to joke and say that since he had spent as much time with me as my parents, he would have to walk me halfway down the aisle. I’ll always be sorry that will never happen.
