#WineStudio: The Endlessness of Breathless Wines

During one recent #WineStudio, we dove deep with Breathless Sparkling Wines, where three sisters and their winemaker, Penny Gadd-Coster, dedicate themselves to make sparkling wine in the traditional method. Not only is this a women-owned winery, the label also features a woman who is meant to represent the sisters’ mother Martha. Family owned and led by women, I can’t think of a better team to represent everything that has driven 2018 forward. Continue reading

Foodie Fashion: A Cupcake for Every Day

There aren’t many things I love about working in the retail industry. People return items they purchased ten years ago and wore down until it was totally unrecognizable; some get mad when you don’t say hello immediately; some get mad when you say hello. The list goes on. However, I will say that working in retail has turned me into a shopper for better or for worse. I won’t blow an entire paycheck on a new pair of shoes, but I have learned that a lot more people recognize someone’s sense of style than I previously thought. Continue reading

#WineStudio: Feeling Inclined to Fetzer Wines

Happy May! I was a bit silent throughout April as I was freaking out, narrowing down my law school choices, and finally settling on attending Temple’s law school this August. Now that I have made my decision, I plan on spend these next few months focusing on something that may fall to the wayside once I start school again: wine. In addition, I’m trying to finish all the blogs I started in March and never got around to editing. Here’s my first one all about Fetzer Wines, a name with which I was familiar before starting the January #WineStudio. Continue reading

Is the Left Coast the Best Coast?

I am an East Coast girl at heart. I went to the opposite coast once, and I was not into it. There was too much traffic, too many people on juice cleanses, and way too many people trying to become actors or models. I am much more comfortable on my coast where people are always rushing around, drinking coffee, and layering up once December hits. Continue reading

Back to School and Feelin’ Cool

A few of you may know this, but I am in the process of applying to law school. Nerve-wracking, stressful, and exciting are all words that come to mind as I reflect on going through the application process. The other thing that comes up is that it also costs money. Between the holidays, applying, and actually trying to save some finances to pay for it, my wine habit has taken a hit. I am fortunate enough to receive samples, but pricey bottles that I want to try stay out of my shopping cart now. Continue reading

Foodie Fashion: Being a Boss with Lipgloss

I have a few vices. Wine, food, and ice cream are just a few of them. However, I’ve also got a soft spot for lipsticks, lip stains, and lip glosses. In an effort to be a better person, I try to make these vices as healthy as possible. Continue reading

#WineStudio: Some Libations and Celebrations

Over the past few months, we’ve had a variety of wine from #WineStudio, the weekly Twitter get-together that is often broken up into monthly topics that range from a wine region to a specific type of wine. When it came to the most recent session, all about this little thing you may have heard of called Prosecco. Continue reading
